How to Request Account Deletion

You can request to delete your account directly from the Assil app by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings menu within the app.
  2. Choose the Delete Account option.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.

Once your request is processed, you will receive an email confirming the deletion of your account and data.

What Data is Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:

  • Personal information such as your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your ride history, including past trips and destinations
  • Stored payment methods and transaction history
  • Saved preferences and favorite locations

Data That May Be Retained

In some cases, Assil may need to retain certain information to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, as well as for security reasons. This may include:

  • Financial transaction records required for tax and audit purposes
  • Communications with customer support or legal disputes
  • Data necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements

Retention Period for Retained Data

Retained data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill legal, regulatory, or security requirements. Once these obligations are fulfilled, the data will be permanently deleted.

Terms of Deletion Request

By requesting to delete your account, you acknowledge that this action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to your ride history, stored payment methods, and any other personal data associated with your account.

Assil reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
